The Job

You will be playing a pivotal role in developing and executing email marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. This position requires a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of email marketing best practices, and the ability to analyse and optimise campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement the overall email marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate email campaigns with other marketing channels.

    • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance email marketing strategies.

  • Campaign Planning and Execution:

    • Plan and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns, including conceptualisation, content creation, design, and deployment.

    • Segment the email list and tailor campaigns to specific audience segments for personalised communication.

    • Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and best practices.

  • Content Creation and Copywriting:

    • Collaborate with content creators and graphic designers to develop compelling email content.

    • Write engaging and persuasive copy that aligns with brand voice and resonates with the target audience.


  • Email Automation:

    • Implement and optimise marketing automation workflows to nurture leads and drive conversions.

    • Utilise marketing automation tools to set up triggered and drip campaigns for maximum efficiency.

  • Analytics and Reporting:

    • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.

    • Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement and optimisation.

  • A/B Testing:

    • Conduct A/B testing on various elements of email campaigns to optimise performance.

    • Use data-driven insights to refine and improve email content, design, and delivery.

  • List Management:

    • Manage and grow the email subscriber list through ethical and effective acquisition strategies.

    • Implement strategies to maintain list hygiene, minimise unsubscribes, and increase engagement.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with other marketing teams, designers, and stakeholders to ensure consistency across all marketing channels.

    • Communicate effectively with the broader team, sharing insights, results, and recommendations.

About You

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in the e-Commerce industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in email marketing, with a track record of successful campaign management.

  • Familiarity with email marketing tools, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, error-free campaigns.

  • Creative thinking and a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
