The Job
You will be responsible for creating digital experiences that are not only visually appealing but also highly user-friendly and efficient. UI/UX designers focus on enhancing the overall satisfaction and usability of a product by considering the needs, behaviours, and preferences of the end users.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals, user needs, and business requirements.
Conduct user research, including interviews and usability testing, to inform design decisions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualise and communicate design concepts.
Design visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Iterate on designs based on user feedback, testing results, and project requirements.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system for consistency across products.
Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.
Present and communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create visually compelling assets for promotional materials.
About You
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to present and explain design decisions to cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development is a plus.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project timelines, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed design decisions based on data and user feedback.
You have worked within an ecommerce environment.
